Message to the Club and Board of Elk Grove Florin Amateur Radio Club: This domain, site, and hosting was purchased by Eric Guenzler KG6BZT a former member and president of the organization who continues to font the bill for this domain and site to continue on.  Despite attempts to reach out to the current board to make sure they have all pertinent information regarding logins and items needed to file taxes with the IRS.  Yes, the club has an EIN that requires yearly updates.  The board has not responded to any inquiry of mine recently.  There has been constantly begging for someone to manage the website.  I have not gone anywhere and will still continue to update the site.  It is the failure of the board to provide updates to what they want to change.  In the past I would beg and plead for information to post, I no longer have the time and will not spend the time to get the information.  Years ago I meet with the board to hand each officer a printed list containing all passwords necessary for the organization.  I am giving the Elk Grove Florin Amateur Radio club until May 31, 2019, to determine if they want to maintain the website and if they will start to pay for the hosting and renewal of the domain name.  Failure to reach out will result in this site being turned off and services being discontinued.  Please provide a copy of the meeting minutes in which the current year's board was elected so I know why I should be working with.  Thank you.  You can reach me at This email address is being protected from spambots.     Welcome to the site of the Elk Grove - Florin Amateur Radio Club.  This site is designed to inform you of upcoming events that will take place shortly.  We will post information that you will be interested in, such as future meeting times and places, and any pertinent information resulting from prior meetings.

The first meeting took place on Saturday, November 12th, 2011, in the south Sacramento area.  Followed by a meeting on Saturday, December 10th, and a subsequent meeting on January 14th.  The Bylaws were voted on, and the Board was given authority by those in attendance to choose officers.  On Saturday, February 11th, 2012, the Board members presented their positions and were voted in by attending members.

Since then we have been growing, and turnout has been great.  We have a lot of information to teach and share.  Field Day this year was great, and we look forward to next year.  If you are checking us out, we invite you to attend one of our monthly meetings.  We welcome anyone, even if you don’t have a license yet.  There are plenty of people willing to help you learn, and you could find an Elmer.
